Grove Promoted to Operations Manager for RJA/Las Vegas

Rolf Jensen & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that Jeffrey S. Grove, P.E. has been promoted to Operations Manager for the Las Vegas office. Previously the Associate Manager for this location, Grove took over this new role on February 1, 2010. As Operations Manager, he will be responsible for oversight of the consulting and office support staff, including quality control, mentoring, marketing and professional development.

Grove brings twenty years of experience in fire protection engineering and life safety consulting to his new position. Since joining RJA in 2001, he has been actively involved in all project phases from concept and code compliance to systems testing and third party review. He has also been a key player on major projects for RJA/Las Vegas, including the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino and the newly opened CityCenter.

Grove, a registered Professional Engineer in California, Nevada and Utah, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado.  He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the International Code Council (ICC), and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), where he is Past President of both the Northern California/Nevada Chapter and the Southern Nevada Chapter.
