CHICAGO – June 4, 2010 - The RJA Group, Inc. honored the 2009 Annual Recognition Award Winners at a dinner held at the Metropolitan Club on June 2, 2010. These awards acknowledge those individuals who best embody the values of The RJA Group and have succeeded in furthering our company’s mission and goals.

George Parry Officers’ Award: to recognize the employee who made the most significant business development achievements in the calendar year.
Presented to Tim Costello for expanding the reach of our New York Office in the healthcare market, particularly the relationship he has built with New York Presbyterian Hospital – a highly profitable project that brought work to multiple RJA offices in 2009.

President’s Award: to recognize the technical employee who demonstrates the best technical achievement in the calendar year.
Presented to Melissa Meade for taking on roles of increasing responsibility on key projects, such as the Granite Mountain Records Vault project in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was selected to present this project as part of the 2009 Technical Leadership Conference.

Leadership Award: to recognize the employee who demonstrates the best project management including revenue, collections and teamwork.
Presented to Rich Mahnke for demonstrating excellence in Leadership through his project management skills for both his clients and his SAKO/RJA peers. Rich also takes the time to mentor his colleagues and has always been the person fellow employees turn to when they have questions or need help on a wide range of topics, including technical, operational and project management.

George Kelm Directors’ Award: to recognize the employee who best promotes/advances the goals and principles of our profession and The RJA Group.
Presented to Fang Li for providing a superior level of business development, quality control and staff mentoring, while leading her office to the highest utilization rate in the company for 2009. She is recognized as an expert in her field by the China Fire officials and has gone above and beyond in expanding the profession of fire protection engineering in Asia and the role RJA plays in this marketplace.
